Rifle shooting Falling plate:
Falling plate is a knock out competition between 2 team,
the teams (4 man) starts on the 300 meters firing range,
runs to the 200 meters firing range and there so quickly as possible hit 10 targets
The winning team remaining in the competition, the loser is out of it

Ulf and I meet some Canadian UN-soldier on a cabaret in Nicosia,
we thought it would be fun to have a new uniform
from a different country, so we changed uniforms

The most of the time on the battalion I spend on OP (Observations Post) like this,
The force on the OP was a rifle squad of 8 men
 

  KP cars on march
When the platoon serves in the camp , they where Alert Force,
on the photo the Alert Force is going out to establish a "Standing patrol"

The Alert Force have for carriage KP cars (Scania Vabis armoured cars) who was armed whit double machine gun m/36,
Alert Force arms was besides the soldiers personal weapon Ak4, also machine gun m/58 and antitank rifle

  Everyone on the battalion should go the Cap Greco march
The Cap Greco march was 20 km, whit start in Aiyos Yeoryios, after march around Cap Greco rock,
the destination was Fig Tree Bay and cold beer , kebab and bath

In october 1977 it was decided that the swedish UN battalion should have to move from Famagusta area to Larnaca area,
before the company camp in Nicosia was build the First company should have to live in a tent camp outside Larnaca.
3 company 2 platoon had the missions to build the tent camp
